HEAVY TRAFFIC EXPECTED ON GEORGIA HIGHWAYS THIS WEEKEND

Friday, March 19: Historically traffic has been extra heavy on the weekends as spring arrives. Students are headed back to school from Spring Break and citizens from northern states and Canada are returning home after wintering in Florida. Through Sunday, congestion is expected to slow all Georgia highways, especially I-95 along the coast and I-75 throughout the state.

Motorists are strongly advised to plan ahead, use caution on the highways, and allow extra time to reach their destination. Call 511 for updates.
